Seen as how it's now on the known issues list, I guess I can post this:

Has any else come across this?

Can you confirm the software version you are running?

Nice... very nice

3.0(59), VM Pro 3.0.17 (IPO mode). I've only tested it on a 5410, but I can reproduce it 100%. The buttons do all work, and you get buttons for new, old and saved as well. As I mention though, Avaya have classed it as a bug and it's being removed.

It comes up when you press the message button ?

Don't let them touch it, it's gold!

What locale are you using ?

It's not that simple, it is hidden. Eng locale. It's scheduled to be introduced in 3.2 (so about 1 year away).

sooner rather than later I hope

(How hidden is hidden, any clues so I can experiment in my lab. Ilike to know how things (dont)work long before the customer gets let loose with them)

Err, how can I give a hint without giving it away..... the phone needs to be doing something else when you access voicemail. You can use the messages button, *17 or PM to access vm.

I suppose if this will be removed on the next GA build there is no problem just tell the whole story.
If you look to the "known" issues on 3.0.59 then you must be either stupid or desperate staying on this release if the new build has gone GA.

ahhh 3.2 ..... the paid for version

I feel like red flagging latitude12 for not telling!

Ok, I'll tell.... you must access vm whilst the phone is ringing. For example, when the phone is alerting on the first appearance, go off hook on the second appearance and press the messages key. You must have at least one message in your mailbox (new, old or saved).

v. interesting, shat sequence has boviously bee put in place for early testing.

Does it let you know if your Masg are for a group mailbox (this is the bit of visual voice on DT handsets that is most missed)?

Does it matter which user interface (IP Office or Intuity) is used?
Mike

I had a similar bug a while back when 3.0.40 first came out. When I called VM once (only one time) then hung up it displayed "New = 1 Old = 3" on the display (like a magix).

If only......
