if i have drt set to prime after 3 rings, why does it take 5?

is it 5 co rings or 3 system rings

WORK SMART NOT HARD

5 rings when i call 3 rings are set in the system.

in a nut shell all i really need to know is does the system know when the first 3 or 4 hunt members are busy? so when you call the hunt group, does it still only ring once if member 5 answers immediately? or does it have to ring to the 4 busy extension to realize they are busy?

sorry i forgot to mention that i have an ivr answering immediately on each port and im afraid that with DRT set to 3 that if the first, 7 extension or so, are busy will the drt kick in or will the hunt group still send the call to port 8 within a ring or 2

8 members, sequential, hunt delay 2, if busy queue, q timeout 30secs, overflow to 221

if the dialogic card fails (the 8 members) i want it to go to switchboard asap, so i set drt to prime at 3 rings because the dialogic card picks up within 2. but if the first7 members are busy will the 8th member still pickup withing 2 rings?
