Drop down combo box that shows previous entries

I'm trying to make a form that can track suppliers and I wanted to have a drop-down box for the supplier ID. For some reason when I do the look-up wizard option and then when I go to my form and enter a new entry the new entry does not even show up. For example I have entered suppliers 1, 2 and 3. and then I close down the form and open it again, and then I proceed to enter supplier id#4. But I have to type in 4 twice for it to even take. and then after i am done with the record, the new supplier id#4 does not show up until I close the form totally and then open it again. anyone know what's goin on?

Requerying and refreshing is what is going on

me.cboname.requery will requery your combo box if a query sources it
me.refresh will refresh your form and hence your cbo box

so on the after update property
mecboname.requery
& me.repaint will repaint the form without refreshing it

Do a Refresh and then a requery because without a refresh. In the past I have not been able to retrieve the data with just a requery.
