Drivers for Canon Scaner

Hi All,
A friend has a Canon CanoScan FB630P with LIDE technology. That worked fine with XP but after getting a new PC with Vista no luck running the thing. I have been looking I find plenty of drivers for XP. But none for Vista yet.

There may be some good news via a discount on another Canon Scanner, if you want one.

Hey Linney,
Thanks, But that was what I the problem may be. I will let my friend know. Anc also keep searching maybe Canon will get enough mail that they will do some thing.

HP dumped my Scanner too, I still dual boot with XP, so I can circumvent the problem that way.

If you keep searching Google, you may stumble across some workarounds, but as far as Canon is concerned that may be wishful thinking on your part?
