Driver will not install

What do you mean they wont install?
We dont know if there is a problem with the cdrdom being dirty and therefore not readable or if there is some other problem, so some additional info would help. Do you get a message saying it wont install?
One thing i could suggest would be to follow the mfgrs steps to reset the cmos (bios). I suppose its possible there may be some setting there preventing installation of your chipset and\or video drivers, although i think its likely a longshot, worth a try.

I go through the setup process reboot and the driver is not functional. If I right click the desktop/properties there is not a settings tab. However, when I open the contol panel there is an icon for the intel adapter, but when clicked it does not respond.

Ok, go to bios and set it so it will redo or re-set dmi settings. I think i have the right wording, but you should be able to find it based on that.
Again, in the bios, if plug and play is set to yes then set it to no. Trust me, there wont be any harm done setting it to no, usually does a lot of good.
Do all that, then try installing again, starting with chipset drivers then video. If they install, each time reset dmi settings.
