I wanted to know can you map drives from your local computer to the citrix system if you have a ICA session setup say with Outlook. I am wanting to setup drive mapping from the client to the servers with out haveing to load a application? For use to transfer files only.

Can you run Windows Explorer as a citrix ap?

Thanks

hi,
your question is not clear to me.

ICA maps client drive (suppose C: of your desktop),
in a Server Connection (using ICA + Terminal Server):
if ICA (or RDP) do not this, you can see only Fixed Disk of the Server (if no limit Policy ave been applicated)

If in a ICA connection you don't see your C: drive there
are 2 possibility: or your drive has changed name (V: for
example to not confuse with C: of the server if nobody has remapped in M: as usual) ot in Citrix Connection Configuration, local drive mapping has been disabled.

Try to login (for test) at a full desktop at server, with
the same user, and see wich device you see.

If this is not the mapping you where asking, try by
login script and net use command.

bye

Let me try and explain, I can get drives to map when running Citrix applications, is there a way to map drives outsite of Citrix using the ICA client? If not can I share Windows Explorer on the citrix Farm?

Thanks
