I have a weird problem I hope someone has come across before. I have a W2K domain with 45 XP workstations. I have a drive mapping script on the DC which maps all the users to the U:\server\users\username directory. All but two of the workstations maps correctly. The two problematic workstations keep mapping to the U:\server\users directory.

I did some troubleshooting today and discovered that when the workstation reboots, it loses the mapping but if the user logs off the workstation and logs back on, the drive maps correctly.

Anyone come across this problem before?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Employ net use command (netbios), run 'net help use' for correct syntax then use the /persistent:yes option

Thanks Ricpinto. I will give it a try on Monday. I did use the net use command but not with the persistent option on Friday. I will let you know my outcome.

Thanks again.

Matt

Thanks for the advice Mark, but I already tried the suggested link.
