Hello,
I have a DVD-ROM(D
set up as my secondary master, and a CD-RW(E
as the secondary slave.
The problem is that when I go into My Computer, Explorer or any Save As dialogue box I cannot see the CD-RW, yet I can select it just fine from applications like Nero for example.
Also I can create a shortcut to it on my desktop simply typing 'E:' through the 'Create New Shortcut' command, and can access it just fine like that, so while it's not a huge problem, it is still frustrating the it is not recognized elsewhere.
For both drives I have the appropriate drive letter selected in the start/end boxes you find through the Control Panel Hardware Properties.
I am running an Athlon 700 with Win98SE, and both drives check out in the bios just fine.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks.
