Drive Configs - 1st time builder 1

(ASUS SV8K Mobo)
I have a CD-RW connected to IDE 1
I have a DVD-ROM connected to IDE 2
I have a SATA HD connected to SATA 1
As far as the jummpers on the DVD and CD-RW are concerned:
Are they both Masters?
Does seting the jumper to Cable Select imply I can assign them master or slave in the BIOS?

You would set them both to master...cable select just attempts to assign them as to where they are attached on the cable...end of cable would be the master and middle would be the slave. The slave would be the second drive attached to the same chain.

If this doesn't work, I know that on my motherboard, if I want to have the SATA drive as the default master (or c, I have to set my IDE Hard Drive to Slave because the SATA takes the Primary master position.

Figured I'de give a heads up; but I don't know how common this drive conflict is, so try it rclarke250's way first.
