Drill down on same main report (Collapse/Expand)

I would like the group to drill down on the same page of the report rather than it opening a new tab every time I drill down.

I am using Crystal Reports XI.

For example,

Customer Sale
ABC $1000
XYZ $2000
PQR $3000
If I drill down on ABC, it should look like as below in the same page.

ABC $1000
Product Amount
Batteries $200
Phones $800

XYZ $2000
PQR $3000

Right now it displays on a new tab as below (My client does not like this)
ABC $1000
Product Amount
Batteries $200
Phones $800

Is there a way to accomplish the above ?

As far as I know, this isn't possible. Both on-demand subreports and drilldown take you to a new tab. You could, however, set up a parameter so that a user could decide in advance of running the report which sections he/she would like to have detail shown. Then you could use conditional suppression on the detail field:

not({table.groupfield} in {?grpdetail})

...where {?grpdetail} is a multiple value parameter.
