Dreamweaver templates do not update HTML

I use templates in dreamweaver and whenever i update just the html that does not chnge the view of the site i.e. meta tags it does not update them. Is this a bug in DW? where can I fix it?

Many have come and tried, none have found the solution.

I cut and paste my meta tags ion templates. painfull, but i've foudn no otehr way.
