Hello,

I am a ridiculous novice where Web design is concerned. I was promoted last year and have become the Web Master... pretty much means I simply maintain the site... updating calendar events, etc. I have been playing with a Dreamweaver template (Dreamweaver MX 2004) and tried to upload it yesterday just to see how it's looking live. I am having problems with it and not sure what I am doing wrong... please see the attachment with screen shots.

Thank you so much for your help...

Amber

What support files (style sheets, images, js, inc, etc)does the page use? Have you uploaded them all? - if so are they in the right folders?

If you are just worried about layout differences between preview mode and live mode then first make sure that your page validates (by using and then give us a link to the live document.

Ok... the site we have now is
The page I am playing with is
I am sorry I don't understand "What support files (style sheets, images, js, inc, etc)does the page use?"

I have never created something from scratch before. I really thought using the CSS template would be really easy... but again... when it's viewed live... the template is not visible. I felt like I uploaded everyting to the correct folders.

The original site - is under "New AHA Site" folder... since I made this new site I have it under that folder... like an additional htm page. I don't know... I may just be in over my head :s

Thanks for your time!

Hey... thanks so much! I figured it out and you helped me... it was all in my ftp... I didn't realized I had to create an entirely new folder  thanks so much!

You're welcome [smile]
