Hi, I've been trying to apply a hotspot to an image already inserted in dreamweaver, but when I select the area where the hotspot needs to be, nothing happens. The (cyan color) area that ususally shows after selecting the cordinates doesn't show up. And of course, consecuently I can't apply the link.

Does anyone knows why it does that? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

JB.

I was having that problem too but only intermittently. I saved what I had, closed the program and opened it again-then it worked. Very strange....I have no explaination

Bluetone, I checked on (View>Visual Aids), and it is on. I fact almost everything there is on. Do you have other ideas of what could be the problem? Thanks

JB

Make sure they are ALL checked to show. I forget which one is the culprit. I have had the problem you described and it was certainly annoying. If memory serves me correctly, it was the Visual Aid settings. However, it might be some other option setting and I'm just confused (it happened once before lol).

Open a new page, import a graphic and see if you can add a hotspot. If you can't you have some option misconfigured. If you can then I would recommend you recreate the page you are now working on by cutting and pasting from the old to the new.

Peace
BT
