Dreamweaver 8 Draw Layer??

Hello.

When I try to use the Draw Layer it doesn't show up where a place the box for it. Everytime I use it it creates and long layer that never changes in size.

I have used this before so I don't know what settings I changed?

Anyone know how I can get this back to being able to Draw Layers anywhere on the page and to be able to resize ect.

I tried converting one of my pages from table to layers and it displays the layers one below the other all the way down the screen. When I see it in the browser everything it laid out fine. Also, it doesn't add to the "Layers" tab, it just adds stuff to the CSS tab.

I can't figure this out.

I tried unistalling then reinstalling and still the same thing. It must not be a setting.

What am I doing wrong, it works fine in MX 2004?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Fixed it. I had to uninstall using the cd to remove all user prefs. and removed all extentions. Then re-installed and everything works fine.
