Dreamweaver 8.0 Datasource Connection error http 401

Dreamweaver 8.0
.net Data connections are no longer working
when attempting to connect via Ole DB or Sql Server I get the error: http error code 401 unauthorized.
I have checked the file security and everything is still fine and the account is authorized to access the database. It only affects the .net web connections.

look under IIS.... .net needs to be set to 'allowed' (win2003)

I am also having the same problem. I upgraded to Dreamweaver 8. When I set up any .net data sources I get "HTTP Error Code 401 Unauthorized". I can't see the tables or data from within Dreamweaver, but I can view the data when I open the web page in IE so the data connection is working. I checked the file security and iis security and everything appears okay. I can connect to the databases using other applications such as Visual Studio. It appears to just be the Dreamweaver app.

Any suggestions?
