drawing floor

I would like to place a car that I clipped out onto a black and white checkered floor. I make the pattern of black and white checks. The problem is trying to skew the pattern into a flat surface. No matter how I try it just doesn't look right. Any tips would be appreciated. as of now, I think I will have to give up on this idea...

I've done similar stuff before using Edit > Transform > Distort. If this results in 'jaggies' around the edge of your checkered floor try setting your document to a higher resolution.
