drag and drop has stopped working

There's not a lot of detail here, but here goes...<br>

Under certain circumstances, installing IE4 can cause DnD to stop working in Explorer windows (including the root desktop window).<br>
<br>
Unfortunately the only fix I've ever found for this problem is to do a clean reinstall of Windows.<br>

Perhaps you could tell us a bit more? Why did you have to reinstall NT, for example?<br>
