Hello all,
We recently had a complete power outage (thanks ComEd) and after the power outage upon reboot of our NT 4 server. I get a Dr. Watson error in services.exe soon after login.
Because of that users cannot login to the server and I cannot view the event viewer or use any other rpc service.
I have been told that I would have to reapply my service pack (5) or go to 6. I am hesitant to do any of these as I have sqlserver data on this box and can not afford to have any of those goofy sp related issues. Can I simply replace services.exe?
Any ideas? Thanks.
