Dr. Watson error on "EnterpriseAddRe.exe" when saving to APS

I just installed developer version of CR 8.5 that comes with free 5-user license CE 8 Standard Edition. I can login to the APS with CR 8.5 but during Save/Save As operation, I always get a Dr. Watson error. Is there some setting needed to the CE to allow CR integration? I installed CE on a Win2k box while the CR client is on an NT machine.

all help appreciated.
