I have inherited the maintenance of a very remote Coastguard Modular system which is linked to another switch using DPNSS. The guy who set it up retired and didn't know much about it anyway. He was talked through the setup by someone on a phone call. Can anybody send me a recipe to setup DPNSS or where I can get some documentation?

What is DPNSS? Never heard of it before.

What type of KSU do you have?


There are only 2 seasons in Canada, Golf and Snowmobile season.

DPNSS is a signalling system used on T1/E1 PRI links here in the UK.

Not being cheeky, what's a KSU?

Did you try
Google ? I see there are many sites with info....

KSU- key service unit (the cabinet you are running...MICs or CICs)
