downloading a nonexistant file

OK, I have a database in which are contacts listed for orders to be placed at any given time. I'm trying to Export some of this information into XML using memory (not a temp file) and having the browser download it to be imported into another program. Any ideas?

Set the appropriate HTTP headers and stream the data to the browser.
