Download entire folder using Commandline FTP

Hi.

I have a folder on an FTP server and I need to be able to download the folder and its contents using commandline to a specific location on my computer. Is there a command for this or do I have to go through each folder one at a time?

Depending upon the ftp client you are using, you can select to download a folder specifically to download along with it's contents (well first 2000 files anyways).

Most clients allow this, however simpler clients do not.

Right now I'm trying to use MGET to download the folder and its contents. No good so far.
