Down Server UpGrade 4.11 to 6.5

Has anyone tried the Down Server UpGrade option to go from NetWare 4.11(SP9) to 6.5? This seems the easiest way to go. Use "copied drives" so originals are protected. Here is what I understand will work. If you disagree please advise:

1. Perform health checks on old server, resolve issues now
2. Copy original drives in old server 4.11 to new ones
I use PortLock Storage Manager to copy DOS and Volumes
3. Swap out the originals with the copied ones
4. Down Server, if it already running
5. Insert NetWare 6.5 CD1 (OS)
6. Boot server
7. Answer Install option with "M" manual
This takes you to a DOS prompt
8. Type: install /upgrade
9. Upgrade begins

Now when done will everything be ok.

Hi again,
I completed the "Down Server UpGrade" mentioned above with a Compaq Proliant ML370 and everything went great. All data seems to be intact along with the NDS.
The only thing I had trouble with was the Seagate Scorpion 40 tape drive. After many hours of effort I found the answer to that one on CA's ARCserve website. They said to remove NWTAPE.CDM, which I had and any of these: SCSI2TP.CDM, DLTTAPE.CDM AND EXATAPE.CDM, which I did not have.
Also I needed to add their CANWPA.CDM and set the cachsize in BTI.cfg to 20% of RAM in the server. It is in SYS:\SYSTEM. I then installed ARCserve server and manager and did a 10GB backup with no problems. The whole thing took about 15 minutes with the right instructions. I must have spend 8 hours trying one thing and another with NWTAPE.CDM and AHA2940.HAM, both of which I did not need. They say NWTAPE.CMD is for sbackup.
Here is my complete Startup.ncf for anyone interested:

LOAD IDECE.CDM
LOAD CPQSHD.CDM
LOAD QLCSFTE.CDM
LOAD CANWPA.CDM
LOAD IDEATA.HAM SLOT=10008
LOAD ADPT160M.HAM SLOT=10015
LOAD ADPT160M.HAM SLOT=10016
That's it. I am using 2 hot-plug 36GB HDDs right now. Do I need to add more ADPT160M.HAMs for additional drives? On Novell's website I found a statement that if you use one HAM without the slot= ... part it will load as many HDDs as you have? I tried that and it errored on me.
One more question. I used the DEMO, trial license at the time I updated because I did not have my licenses downloaded yet, had to call for help. Now that I have my license how do I get it installed?

You can just remove the demo from within NWADMIN and then add the real one. It's done from the tools --> Novell licensing servers on the menu across the top bar.
