Double pound signs!

Has anyone encountered a problem where DreamWeaver replaces one pound sign with two? For example, in ColdFusion templates, DW will changed the background color to ##FFFFFF, etc. It is becoming exasperating. I was using UltraDev, and now I've switched to 4--just waiting to see if it'll happen again.
