Double Logon

On almost all of our Win98 clients, it normally takes 2 attempts to logon to the Win NT 4 network. None of the Win2k pro clients are having problems so I dont think there is a problem with the network. On the second attemp, it will let you in everytime. Also on a lot of the Win98 clients, when we browse out through network neighborhood, we dont see any other clients on the network. But if we use UNC and directly connect to a computer, it works fine.
Any ideas.

Hi,

There can be a problem in the name resolution. If u r not using DNS, there will be a delay in the name resolution and also check whether Browser service is working properly on the NT Server.
