Hi there,

Is it possible to print from a DOS-prompt to a printer connected via a USB-port.

Something like: DIR > LPT1 but with USB rather than LPT

Thanx
Jack

It's 10 O'Clock ( somewhere! ).
Are your registry and data backed up?

Alas,

NET USE LPT1 etc. works only on network printers
My question was about a stand-alone printer attached to the USB port of a laptop or stand-alone PC.

So my question stands.
Is it possible to print from DOS to an USB port.
No network involved.

Jack

Thanks Blutekhnd, that's what i needed.
