Dos Ntfs Boot Disk 2

I was wondering if there is a bootdisk that will allow dos to read ntfs partitions. I have found some third party utilities that will allow me to read ntfs partitions but I am looking for something more like a Win 98 style boot disk.

Do you mean only the partition information? A Win98 boot disk with fdisk can do that.

You can use

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/NTFSDOS.shtml

with a win98 boot disk to have read access to ntfs filestore.

If you can boot from CD, you can use Knoppix or ERBD to read and write NTFS filestores; unlimited read, writes limited to another disk or a network share to avoid problems.
