You might have a bit of a problem as 640kb is total available (which makes me ask why do you need 640, as no dos program could be written to use that much).
PS. You might also have more luck in the ME forum when you've worked out what you really need.

Hey, That was fast.
All I really is 612K, what i am trying to do is run a dos based security program Made to access security panels with pc. The maker of software does not support Win ME.
But with win 98 they sent a tech bull. with instructions for editing config.sys file, but this does not work on ME.

I know ME doesn't use config.sys for loading stuff into memory like win95/8 (I don't know if you can use Msconfig to affect this in ME - I'm not really in to ME) - could you just boot using a boot floppy & run prog from there?
