Door Intercom Viking E50 IPO 500

Hey Guys,

So here's my dilemma.

I have a door intercom, Viking E50, its plugged into an analog port on my IPO 500 V2.

I built the User with a short code ?D, Dial Etxn, 1592(The Hunt Group I built for the door operators), Line 0.

The Extension I built as an IVR port so the line disconnects.

The issue is logging the extension onto the system, I get a dial tone when I press the button but because the extension isn't logged on it doesn't complete the short code.

How can I get the intercom logged on seeing as it has no dial pad, just a single button. Can I just hook a handset to the port log the extension in that way then flip the line back to the intercom?

what are you trying to do here? my guess is push the button and ring a hunt group? correct?

Yeah, press the button, ring the HG, operator picks up, hits ## to trigger the relay.

1st make it an analogue extension, 2nd make it a hot line destination that when the button is pushed will ring the hunt group, search the help files on hot line destination.

I have that as the Short Code and it is an analog extension. The main issue is that in System Status the port does not should the extension as Current User Extension, so when the button is pushed the system doesn't authenticate the user to be able to run the short code. How do I get that extension logged in to become the Current User Extension.
