Anybody know if the dn-dst phone fucntion is a 'don't disturb' button and if so, when it is activated on a phone used why calls to it would go to the attendant phone. I would like to stop that and for the caller just to hear a continous ring without any redirection.

Thank you

The coverage on DND can be administered in a coverage path. Just set the SAC/DND/Goto Cover? to "y".

More info needed? Just put it up here.. good luck.
Kind Regards,

Thanks Maarten.

SAC/DND/Cover - where is this field?. i understand about the coverage patsh on stations as I use them quite often for voicemail/coverage answer groups and so on but I've not seen this setting.
I don't want a redirection for a caller to a phone in non-disturb status so why would I need to use a coverage?
Also do you know whay calls to this station are being answered by the attd. When it's the dn-dst of off it's fine.

Thansk again

The do not disturb button is administered in the cover path and a simple way of stopping the phone disturbing you is to set up a ringer-off button in your soft keys which is done as default when you add a station. Just press this and the phone will stop ringing.

Note!! That changing that cover path options will change all the phones that use that cover path. Wisdom is Knowledge

thanks for all your help with this

The dn-dst is a hospitality feature normally used for hotels. It is normal for a call that is routed to a hotel room with Do Not Disturb feature active to be re-directed to the console attendant.
It sounds like you would be better off to use the send-calls button. You can leave the extension field blank when programming this button and when a call comes into this station and the button is active, the phone will half ring and the caller will go to the cover path.
