Just acquired an ibm thinkpad with a xircom credit card 56T modem but no dongle. Can anyone tell me what type Dongle it requires.

Dongle?

It has an edge connector that looks similar to an USB connector. Intel now owns Xircom and you can order a replacement for their website. Be sure you have all the Model #s for the card (from its face plate) as they made lots of different models.
