I have several locations that I update os software once or twice a year. All sites are 11c or the new branded name of Cs1000. They are now at release 5.5. In the past I have loaded the os on a spare SSC card using a dongle from another system just to get the software and peps on it. Once at the site and the card is installed with the site dongle I load the archived data base. Usually have a 25 minute down period to get it upgrade. I know there is a programable eprom dongle and I know who makes the part. Long version there but here is the question for those that use the univeral dongle............. What is the part number? I have used several free samples but they are not the correct part.

I have some details of one, but I've got to find it. I seem to remember that there are 2 types.

Dongles that start off with 2xxxxxxxx can only be used on the SSC cards & those with 3xxxxxxxx will work for all systems.

I'm guessing that your newer systems are using the CPPM cards?.

Due to the worn & scratched surface on the dongle. I did manage to obtain some numbers / letters from my contact today.
