domain users can't run virus updated

I have a domain with 5 users. I try to update the virus scan it tell me you have to be an administrator to run updates. I just want my users to be able to update the scan dat files without having the admin do it. I shared the mcafee and shared network associates file with the user but that doesn't work. any suggestions?

Make sure that the service that runs the MCSHIELD.EXE service has local administrator rights on the machine. This will run the update even if the user logged in doesn't have local admin rights.

I have done that and it works. I can't do a manual update but it will automatically. thanks for the help.
