I have two seperate domains in the same building. One is connected to a t1 and the other a dsl. Each domain has a different ip range but use the same subnet. How would I go about mapping a network drive on the 1st domain that points to a drive on the other domain. I connected the two switches
by crossover cable and configured the dns server on the 1st domain. I can ping by ip address and name, but this doesnt mean that the two domains can necessarily interact with each other. I am definetly missing something here, was thinking about a domain trust relationship, but dont know how to set one up. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Thank you....

Its controlled in Active Directory Sites and Services. Here is where you create the trust relationship between domains. Read the help on creating a forest.
