Ok, this is baffling me...
Something that should take 5 minutes has turned into hours and is giving me a headache...
I have two servers runnign w2k, each has a different domain. I need to use active directory migration so I can migrate AD users, groups, etc. But to use this I must have trust between the two servers.
-I have DNS and WINS entries to allow the servers to talk.
-I've created the trusts, I beleive.
-I can browse each network from each server, logged in as the admin.
BUT when I try to run the ADM tool I get this "you are not the administrator on the domain source". Adverly when I attempt to add the admin of one server as a member of domain admin on the other server, it won't allow me. It states I don't have admin rights.
FYI , I only log in as the administrator.
Any thoughts? How can I get this ADM tool to work?
Thanks
