Hi,
I don't know if it is domain sharing that I want to do exactly, but here is a description.
- My e2k server has in its recipient policy (primary) xxx.com
- I have a separate unix mail server that accepts mail directly for yyy.com
- Some users in xxx.com have yyy.com email addresses, so i've entered those in AD for those users.
- Can I simply add a new recipient policy for yyy.com and a SMTP connector to the unix machine so that my e2k server can accept mail for yyy.com and forward on unresolved addresses to the unix box? Or is there more to it?
Ideally, exchange's message categorizer will deliver mail locally to those who have yyy.com addresses, and forward the rest on to the unix machine.
tia,
mike
