Domain Replication 1

I have a domain with two domain controllers. According to DCDIAG I have not received a good replication since 9/18/06. I've resolved several other issues that were preventing the replication. I have got to the point where the primary server recognizes that there is a second server on the network, but says that it has not replicated in too long and it will not replicate to that server (sounds like an ex of mine) but I digress..

So I have been doing some research on forcing replication between the two servers. I've found this post it describes my situation pretty accurately, only I have several more entries in there. I'd like to use the ldp tool to clean out the entries, however, I'm very green and could use a little guidance. Can some one tell me where to get a manual so I can RTFM on ldp.exe?

Here are the results I have when I run repadmin /showvector /latency dc=tcud,dc=state,dc=tx,dc=us
Code:
C:\>repadmin /showvector /latency dc=tcud,dc=state,dc=tx,dc=us

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Look in the event logs of those two servers for events on or around 09/18/06 that could have caused the non-replication problem.

I would recommend using replmon for troubleshooting. That would be the first thing I would do if I were you.

Thank you djtech2k! That utility tool was a great asset! I ran a "Synchronize Each Directory Partition with All Servers" using the first option "Disables transitive replication..." and this forced the replication.

I ran DCDIAG again and the replication piece passed!

Much appreciated!
