We are having an issue with some domains that we send mail to sending a NDR back that says
451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address michael@memorycompany.com does not resolve <recipients_email_address@clemson.edu>... Deferred: 451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address michael@memorycompany.com does not resolve <<< 503 5.0.0 Need RCPT (recipient)
Does anyone know what the problem might be? Our ISP is using Argosoft mail server and they are not being very much help. I know that there is no Reverse DNS for our mail server and that our mail server and primary domain are using 2 different internet sources. The website with the primary domain name is using a fiber line from a local company and the mail server is using a T1 from a differnet local company. Does any of this make a difference?
Thanks,
Michael
