domain levels

We have a 2000 mixed domain level which includes one 2000 GC and one 2003 DC. There is also a few NT servers which will be phased out soon.
Should i upgrade our 2000 GC to 2003 and then raise to domain level to 2003?

I forgot to mention that we use Ecxh 5.5 on 2000 server without AD connectors. Will be upgrading to Exch 2003 soon.

Wait until you upgrade/replace those NT boxes. Both NT and Exchange 5.5 are no longer supported. Best to get those out of the way first.
