Does XP take longer to logon to a Domain than Win2k?

It is taking me a good 2 min to logon to a windows 2000 server. When i logon to the domain using win2k workstations it takes no longer than 10 secs...do you know why?

There is no reason why a XP machine should take longer to log onto a Domain than a 2K pro machine.
I would say the problem will lie in the configuration of the XP machine
