I have a SELECT INTO query running. If I stop it, does it have to rollback?

I can't find anything about this online.

Thanks!!

Natalie

Cancelling the query will initiate a rolback. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA

The new tablename which you specified in the
SELECT * INTO <tablename> will still get created even though you stop the query.

Andel,

Very true. However, the table will be empty. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
