I need to know if auto CAD version 18 will work with windows 2000 or windows XP Professional. If so how did you get them to work?

Thanks in advance

I've never seen AutoCAD 18 - after AutoCAD 14 the version number went to 2000, 2000i, 2000, and recently released 2004. Any recent version of ACAD will work with Windows 2K or XP. Here's the official AutoCAD support site there are many other unofficial ones.

Thank you I appreciate it however, i could not get Autocad Release 18 or AutoCad 2000 to work with XP pro. Thanks for the website as well.

Never heard of V18, but I have AutoCad 2000, and 2004 all working on XP Pro and Home, and Windows 2000.

What does it do?

when I go to start, program, run it wont even recognize the disc for autoCad 2000 is in the CD rom. So i cannot go any further it also displays error 09...I looked up what that was on autodesks website and it did have a conflict w/XP...i believe the error was 9 but it shot out an error that i checked on w/autodesk and it said a conflict exists w/XP is there any way of getting around it? If so how?
