This calendar control is crazy.

In Access 97 how do i make the calendar update my text box on a form to set the form so that the records entered have that date? I have tried an onclick and an afterupdate event but neither populates the text box unless you click into the text box. Then it only allows you one entry on that date. You have to close out the form and then click the calendar and then click into the text box.

I would love this calendar to allow entries on that date until changed and then also allow you to see prior date entries by clicking the calendar.

Does anyone know how this thing works? I would love any assistance or if there is an article to read I would love that too.

Thank you !!!!!

There was quite a discussion about a calendar control being made available quite some time ago. You can view the thread at:

Thread702-19300

And, you can download the code for your use at the following link:

I have used it many times and it is quite versital and useful. I believe you should be able to easily adapt it to your situation.

The calendar control code is compliments of JimmyTheGreek I believe.
