Does anyone know how to upgrade Opt11C to CS1000 4.5 in a lab 3

I am upgrading a Option 11 from 25.40 to SC1000 4.5.

I have a new SSC card and daughter board. Software delivery card and a universal dongle.

I want to upgrade the system in a lab and install the database. Then take the SSC card to site later and swap it out.

Does anyone know how to do an upgrade this way?

Set up your lab opt11 with the same release and serial number as the production opt11.

archive the production opt11 database

restore the archived database to your lab opt11

upgrade the lab opt11

swap ssc card when ready

I did manage to figure out a way that worked, but the true test will be when I swap the cards tonight.

Here is what I did.

The database I had I put on the software delivery card that had the software upgrade on it.

Then I went to LD 143 and issued the upgrade command for a new upgrade and selected archived database when I got that part. It went with out issues.

I will responde later once complete for anyone else that may want to benifit.
