Now this may be the wrong forum, and if it is I apologise.

I have a user with Xp Pro who is connecting to a Terminal Server running Server 2003 and Office 2003. When he tries to save a .doc from that session, he gets the message

"The save failed due to out of memory or disk space"

If he saves as a .rtf file, though, it works.
Now it is saving to a network drive, he has full permissions, there are no quotas set, the drive has plenty of space left.

If he maps to the same drive from his machine directly, he can save fine.

I am completely flummoxed, so any help would be appreciated.

Don't know if this applies to your situation or not, but the symptoms seem identical in not being able to save a .doc file, but being able to save a .rtf file. It deals with third-party filter drivers causing the problem, specifically Veritas.

- You receive an "Out of memory" error message when you try to save a file
