Hi all,

when I send a report to the printer, documents is named
'VisualFoxPro document' or something like this.

It is possible change this name so when I look for printer spooler I find for example:

'Document type A' kb xxx
'Document type B' page 1/3
etc?

Thank you
Andrea [wavey2]

I found this is a tough one too, there are ways to rename the document AFTER it hits the print queue, but timing is then everything and I am not sure how reliable the technique is. (If the document you aimed for printed quickly, you might end up renaming the next one!)

I have seen a library somewhere (via google I think) that
purported to do this.

Are you thinking about output via Acrobat? There are ways
of handling the output to rename and relocate the resultant file.

Sorry if this isn't much help

Andrea,
In VFP 7.0, it will show as the name of your .FRX or .LBX file - no more "Visual FoxPro"!
