I have noticed that when you convert a TIF file to a Word Document in the MS Document Imaging program, if you have text in square brackets it is removed and also the right bracket is removed but the left one stays.
eg if you have in the original:
The
sat on [the] mat
you would end up with:
The [ sat on [ mat
Is there any way round this? I thought it might be something do do with making bookmarks visible in Word but the text just isn't there at all as far as I can see...
