I have a document with a toolbar which brings up a dialog box in which you enter information.

When this dialog box is open, and I want to alt+tab to another document that I have open - there is only one document shown.

If I then close down the dialog box and alt+tab, I can see all my open documents.

Is there anyway to fix this?

I am using Word 2003.

PS. If you use your mouse you can see all the documents open on the start bar.

Is this a custom dialog box? If it is, make SystemModal = False. By default, userforms and dialogs are SystemModal = True. This means once they have focus, nothing else can happen WITH THE APPLICATION until it form closes. Therefore, Alt-Tab - which shows application level availability will not show the other document.

The Taskbar, which is system[/b} level will show the other documents. However, even though they show, they are still not available. You can see them on the Taskbar, with the mouse, but you still can not access them - the application is still tied up.

making the form ShowModal = False allows full user accessibility to the application while the form is displayed.
