We have a MICS 4.5. and we are porting in a number. This is my question or questions. These instructions tell you to 'dial' in the number. I've programmed and assigned target lines using a four digit DID and extension. Are these instructions the ones used to enter a complete number or does the Telco send only the last 4 digits to the PRI? Oh and would our line carrier send a new card to Install?

Thanks for helping me understand...

Sort of...
When is says 'Show set' press next then you will see lines.

PRI starts at line 145 I think on your software?.

You need to ask the Telco how many digits they will send or tell them how many you want sent....in your case ask them to send 4 since you have already programmed them or just change the programming to match the telco.

As for the card you needd to purchase the DTR crd and also a combo card.

Curlycord,

So I have to purchase the DTR crd and also a combo card just to add one new DID? I was hoping that I could just program the received number as 8### and the prime set extension as 5###.

Thanks so much....

What equipment are you using on your existing MICS? Are you migrating from analog co's to a PRI, or are you just adding a DID to an existing digital circuit?
