I just finished re-installing W2K3 R2 x32 on Dell PowerEdge 1950. This is intended for my exchange server. Had to do this due to a system crash.

I ended up re-formating C: and managed to keep D: intact and I am now facing having to install exchange. Before I start doing that, I need to install SP2 and any needed fixes; which brings me to my question.

How do I know witch hotfix I need to install?

There are just too many of them to go one by one read their notes and sort them out. I am hoping that

1) There is a list I can get to that tells me which fixes to install prior to installing exchange

2) If I install SP2, I should not need to install any fixes since they are wrapped in SP2

I have struggled with this two days straight (well, there have been other complications) and I really do not want to loose ground.

Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Install SP2, then use Microsoft Update to determine what other patches and hotfixes are required.

Thanks 58sniper!

I am already installing SP2 and looking for required patches

Microsoft Update will determine which patches you need for you, there's no need to sort through them.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
